Management Accountant Intern

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our dynamic Finance team. The ideal candidate will support the Finance team in managing and reporting on financial performance, budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis. This internship role is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to develop their knowledge in management accounting, with exposure to a variety of financial tasks and processes.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
A strong understanding of financial principles, accounting practices, and basic accounting software is a plus.
Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to work with large sets of data.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and willingness to upgrade
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with other departments.
Strong time-management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Exposure to financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes is a plus
Experience using accounting software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is a plus.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to take initiative.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Adaptable and eager to learn and grow within the finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the budget and forecasting processes, ensuring all financial data is accurate and up to date.
Assist in the preparation of weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for management, helping to provide insight into business performance and decision-making.
Assist in cost analysis and reporting to help identify areas for cost reduction or efficiency improvement.
Maintain and update financial databases, systems, and
spreadsheets.
Provide general support to the Finance Management Accountants team as needed.
Prepare regular and ad-hoc analysis on financial performance.
