Junior Recruiter

As a Junior Recruiter, you will play an integral role in our recruitment process by sourcing, screening, and securing the right candidates for our services. Working closely with brand managers across Catalyst Care Group, you’ll ensure that client needs are aligned with candidate skills and values, while also managing the end-to-end recruitment journey. From job posting and proactive searching, to facilitating interviews and onboarding, you’ll contribute to building strong pipelines of clinicians who meet both regulatory standards and the expectations of the people we support.

We’re looking for individuals who embody our core values along with collaboration, integrity, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will be proactive in candidate sourcing, confident using social media and job platforms, and open to learning recruitment tools. Familiarity with Salesforce or another CRM system is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with brand managers to understand service and client needs and align recruitment efforts accordingly
  • Proactively source and attract candidates through social media, job boards, referrals, and direct outreach
  • Review applications and identify the best-matched candidates for specific roles
  • Attend and facilitate interviews, supporting managers with selection decisions
  • Perform employment checks (Right to Work, DBS, references) and verify supporting documentation
  • Collect mandatory compliance documents (proof of ID, proof of address, training certificates, etc.)
  • Maintain accurate records and candidate pipelines in Salesforce and SharePoint
  • Issue contracts and ensure a positive onboarding experience for successful candidates
  • Ensure compliance with CQC and other UK healthcare regulations
  • Provide timely updates to candidates and managers on recruitment progress
  • Build and maintain relationships with candidates to support long-term engagement
  • Actively contribute to weekly team meetings and share insights on market trends and candidate availability

Key Qualifications and Competencies:

  • Minimum of six months’ experience in recruitment, preferably within temporary recruitment and/or an international organisation.
  • Strong understanding of the full recruitment lifecycle and candidate management processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (reading, writing, speaking, and listening).
  • Advanced interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with candidates and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, with strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented mindset.
  • Strong problem-solving aptitude and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
